Prior to pursuing architecture and interior design, Victoria spent a decade in the publishing industry. In her role as Executive Editor and Art Director for a group of fashion publications, Victoria honed a variety of skills that translate into the building design industry. These include sharpening her eye for beauty and detail, working on tight deadlines and working closely with clients to answer their needs and deliver projects on time. Victoria received her bachelor in English Literature and Art History from Columbia University and Masters in Architecture from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation (GSAPP). Victoria was born in the Czech Republic but grew up in New York City. From a young age she was involved in painting and drawing classes at the Art Students League as well as the New School. Victoria is passionate about color, light, tactility and the emotional response evoked from a space that's designed "just right."
Rikki's work in interior design and architecture is informed by her years of experience in molecular biological engineering. These seemingly disparate fields both require the fusion of structure, function, and material in the creation of singular spatial solutions. Rikki's experience ranges from the lab to the construction site, but in all cases entail a dedicated, passionate, and hands-on attitude. A native New Yorker, she draws inspiration from all that the city has to offer. Rikki earned her Masters in Architecture at Columbia University where she was awarded a William H. Kinne fellows traveling prize. She hopes to realize the full potential of each and every space.
